A three-day New Year's festival gets underway in Dublin today.
Over the coming days South William Street will play host to live performances and Dame Lane is being laid out with food stalls. The main event - an outdoor concert featuring Paul Brady, the Coronas and Riverdance - takes place on College Green tomorrow night.
To facilitate the concert, the area in front of Trinity College will be cordoned off from 2pm tomorrow, until 6am on Sunday. The fun continues into New Year's Day, when Temple Bar's Meeting House Square will feature children's entertainment, along with a screen displaying images from Irish people living abroad.
